In Judd Apatow's upcoming Funny People, Aziz Ansari plays a character named RAAAAAAAANDY, the first comedian to have his own DJ. And now, because no comedian is complete without an aggressive marketing strategy, Randy launched his own website, laughyourdickoff.com.

There's a lot of other great and funny things on the site, including videos of Randy's stand-up, a soundboard, and even a section of the site dedicated to fixing the situation in Darfur. The best part is that according to Aziz's tumblr, there's something even greater coming soon to Randy's website.

"Jason Woliner and I also created a whole video series/documentary about Randy that will debut on the site in some form in the coming weeks."

I hope we finally get to hear more of Randy's crazy f*ck stories, a.k.a a f*cktale. By the power vested in me by the great state of Blog York, I hereby declare this the best new website that I found out existed today so far.

HE'S DESIGNING AN ED HARDY KIDS LINE



Just weeks after splitting from his wife of 10 years, Jon Gosselin is back in the spotlight with a new career and a new girlfriend. Gosselin, 32, turned up in St. Tropez hand-in-hand with Hailey Glassman, the daughter of the plastic surgeon who performed Kate’s tummy tuck in 2006. The lovebirds spent the weekend along the French Riviera so Gosselin could finalize a deal to design his own line of children’s clothing with Ed Hardy designer Christian Audigier. Glassman will also have a hand in creating the kid-friendly fashions.

“She’ll have a lot of input with Christian,” Gosselin told PEOPLE of Hailey’s involvement. “And I will, too.” And don’t forget the plus eight — Gosselin tells PEOPLE that his eight kids, who spent the weekend with Kate at the family’s Pennsylvania home, will model his designs in ads for the line. Audigier tells PEOPLE that he approached Gosselin with the idea after noticing that the reality show dad often wore his tattoo-inspired T-shirts on Jon and Kate Plus Eight.

“He’s huge,” says the French designer, who may also collaborate with Gosselin on a specialty motorcycle collection. “Everyone knows this family. And everyone will know our clothes. They’ll be fun, easy clothes for kids.” But it wasn’t all work for Jon and Hailey. During the extended weekend aboard Audigier’s yacht, Gosselin and Glassman lunched at the Tahiti Club before cruising around the bay in a cigarette boat. The pair also went shopping at some of the high-end boutiques around St. Tropez, including Hermes and Prada.

“They couldn’t take their eyes off each other,” a friend of Audigier’s tells PEOPLE. “They looked so happy to just be together.” “I feel very relaxed,” Gosselin told PEOPLE during his weekend escape. But, “every ten minutes I keep thinking about the kids and missing them.” A reunion will come soon enough: Gosselin is due back home on Tuesday where he will start filming new episodes of the family’s TLC series, which returns from hiatus on Aug. 3.

'Phooey' kicks into high gear

Alcon Entertainment has geared up its live-action/animated version of "Hong Kong Phooey" with Alex Zamm on board to direct from David Goodman's script.

Alcon toppers Broderick Johnson and Andrew Kosove are producing along with Brett Ratner and Jay Stern.

Project's an adaptation of the 1970s Hanna-Barbera animated TV series, about a police station janitor who becomes a dog with mystical powers, including the ability to do kung fu.

Alcon's financing and co-producing "Book of Eli," directed by Allen and Albert Hughes.

Goodman's written "Who's Killing the Great Chefs of Vegas" for Warner Bros. He continues as an exec producer on "The Family Guy."

Japanese pop duo Tegomass was to hold a concert in Stockholm May 29th this year. It was cancelled because of the H1N1 flu. However, now the single, Tanabata Matsuri, is here and topping the lists at several online Swedish stores.

Japanese gossip rags tried to sniff out a scandal, but there are really no hard feelings between the Swedish fans and the Japanese agency. Still, the issue has been 'covered up' so as to not have the gossip rags create a scandal out of what was meant to be a present for the Swedish fans.

Once a year only, the lovers Orihime and Hikoboshi, the stars Vega and Altair, are allowed to meet. Unless, of course, it's raining, because then the helpful magpies can't build a bridge (and here I was, thinking love can build a bridge) across that heavenly river we call the Milky Way. That is, in brief, the story behind one of Japan's most beloved festivals: Tanabata, evening of the seventh, night of the stars, when wishes are tied to the branches of the bamboo tree.

Equally as yearning and far from each other as Orihime and Hikoboshi are Japanese pop duo Tegomass and their faithful Swedish fans. In November 2006, Tegomass debuted in Sweden before hundreds of screaming fans of News, the hugely popular boyband that the duo is also a part of. The single they released, Miso Soup, sold Gold and Tegomass waxed lyrical about Sweden when they later had their Japanese debut.

They dearly wanted to come back, but it proved difficult. Constantly busy with concerts, dramas, TV shows etc, Yuya Tegoshi and Masuda Takahisa simply didn't have the opportunity. And the fact that Swedish radio stations hadn't bothered to play Miso Soup might also have made their agency, Johnny & Associates, less eager to skip lucrative activities at home to send their golden boys back to Sweden.

( But the Swedish fans wouldn't give up. Like glitter-crazed magpies... )

At least the single made it through the rain this year. Tanabata Matsuri (currently the best selling single at Megastore and Bengans) was released in Sweden the day after Tanabata on July 8th, and it sounds like classic Swedish country pop, in Japanese, with lots of warmth, longing, and joy. The rain lets up, the sun is shining, and the magpieish fans hum along while working on a star bridge for next year. That is when they will once again stand beneath the same starry sky as the Japanese duo who will forever be 'Made in Sweden'.

"Manten no hoshizora ni ai ni oide yo."
"Why don't you come back again to see the stars in the Milky Way?"

(Yes, it's all so sweet, you're in danger of developing diabetes. But, live on the wild side! Take the risk! Whoo!)

Teen idol Vanessa Hudgens is set to send temperatures soaring again - as a foul-mouthed prostitute.
The High School Musical star hit the headlines when candid snapshots she posed for leaked onto the internet - and now she's stripping off again in new movie Sucker Punch.
She says, "I'm playing a character named Blondie and it's set in a brothel in the 1950s, so there's not a whole lot of clothes."
But the film is also Hudgens' first action role and she can't wait to start training: "It'll be gun training, stunts, fighting and all that craziness. I can't wait. I'm so excited. I've wanted to do an action film for a while.
"I think this is my time to really step it up and get to grow up. It will be somewhat different with the content and a few more foul words but that's the biggest difference."

Radio host Williams begins national TV talk show this week

She's baaack.

Wendy Williams is back on daytime television for good — or as long as the ratings gods will allow, anyway. Her hourlong talk show, "The Wendy Williams Show," debuts Monday on Fox stations across the country, airing live in this area at 10 a.m. on Fox Channel 5.

For this girl who grew up in Ocean Township and has been a fixture on the radio scene for more than 20 years, the national television spotlight is a long time coming.

"It feels good to be here. My life will never be the same. But I'm ready for this," she said with quiet sincerity. "It really is amazing, and this is a dream come true. I'm not going to blow it. I'm ready."

Then, with the arch, wink-wink side of her persona that is never far away, she drawls, "I've even been working out to maintain the ow factor."

For those unfamiliar with Wendy-speak, that's ow, spoken with a drag queenesque purr. It's the same drawl used for Williams' trademark greeting (and signifier of questionable sexuality): "How you doin'?"

Get used to hearing it a lot along with other Williams signatures, such as the sly "Alriiight?" — preferably said with a certain arch to the eyebrow.

The talk show, which had a six-week test run last summer on Fox in four major markets (New York, Detroit, Dallas, Los Angeles), isn't Williams' first foray into television. She had a brief run with a self-produced show that aired on VH1 in 2006.

But this show, which she is co-producing with industry heavyweight Debmar-Mercury, is clearly the big time — and Williams knows it.
